Habitat for Humanity-North Central Georgia accepts court ordered community service volunteers on the construction site only. To sign up to complete community service you must:

• Contact the volunteer coordinator BEFORE registering to volunteer on any sites for community service hours.
• Complete the questionnaire regarding your court-ordered community service obligation. Receive instructions on registration through our online volunteer portal and receive the reservation link to register from the volunteer coordinator.
• Volunteers must pre-register for each site by using the link provided. It is the responsibility of each individual to sign in and out on the iPad at the start and finish of his/her shift. This ensures that the volunteer’s hours will be recorded and accurate.

Without completing this process volunteer hours will not appear in the system, and will therefore be unable to verify. There are limited spots available to community service volunteers. Individuals interested in participating with Habitat-NCG to complete their hours may contact the volunteer coordinator. When requesting a letter for hours verification, please allow for 24-48 hours response.
