About Us

Our Story

Building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter since 2006.

Who We Are

Building Strength, Stability, And Self-Reliance Through Shelter.

Habitat for Humanity-North Central Georgia, a 501(c)3 Christian housing ministry, is an independently run and operated affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International covering North Metro Atlanta.

Habitat for Humanity International was founded by Millard and Linda Fuller in 1976 in Americus, Georgia. Since 2006, our local affiliate has served families across four counties in the greater North Metro Atlanta region — Dawson, North Fulton, Forsyth, and Cherokee.

We have built over 400 homes and continue to serve our community through new home construction, home repair programs, and community partnerships that empower families to achieve the dream of homeownership.
