We provide critical repairs including roofing, plumbing leaks, electrical repairs, HVAC replacement or repairs, Weatherization (i.e., exterior doors, broken glass, cracks, broken windows, attic insulation, etc.), ADA Assistance (i.e., step in showers, ADA toilet, stair lifts, ramps, grab bars, Senior Assist Lever handle faucets, lever handle knobs, paddle switch and grab bar), Home preservation (i.e., repairs to siding, soffits, fascia, repair needs to steps, porch or deck Landscape – tripping hazards, yard clean up, gutter cleaning, repaired or installed)
Qualifications
To apply for the home repair program with North Central Georgia Habitat:
- You must own and occupy your home
- You must demonstrate need for repairs (i.e., being on fixed income, unsafe living conditions, high energy bills, inaccessible home, etc.)
- The warrany/quit claim deed must be in the occupant’s name only
- All owners listed on the deed must be living in the home
- The home must be on a permanent foundation
- You must have lived in your home in Cherokee, North Fulton, Forsyth or Dawson County for at least one year
- Your home must be at least five years old
- Your household income before taxes must be within the following limits:

Application Process
We have a three step application process, and review every application carefully.
Step 1
To complete an online application and upload the required documents, please visit https://portal.neighborlysoftware.com/HABITATNCG/Participant. If you are not able to complete an online application, please contact us at hbowling@habitat-ncg.org or call 678-631-5224.
Step 2
Once your application has been received, you should allow 60 days for review. You will receive notification when your application has been reviewed.
