Community Service

Your Opportunity to Participate in Your Community

Completing Court-Ordered Community Service with Habitat for Humanity-North Central Georgia

We’re happy to welcome court-ordered community service volunteers to our construction sites! Here’s how you can get started:

1. Reach Out First

Before signing up for any volunteer shifts, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator to let us know about your community service requirements. They’ll guide you through the process and make sure everything is set up properly.

2. Complete a Questionnaire

You’ll need to fill out a short questionnaire about your court-ordered community service. This helps us understand your needs and match you with the right opportunities.

3. Register Online

Once the questionnaire is completed, the Volunteer Coordinator will send you instructions and a special link to register through our online volunteer portal. Make sure to use this link to reserve your spot!

4. Sign In and Out

On the day of your shift, don’t forget to sign in and out using the iPad at the site. This step is super important to ensure your hours are recorded accurately.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

  • Spots for community service volunteers are limited, so it’s best to sign up as early as possible.
  • If you need a letter to verify your hours, please allow 24–48 hours for us to prepare it.
  • Without completing the registration and sign-in process, your hours won’t appear in the system, and we won’t be able to verify them.

If you have any questions or need help, our Volunteer Coordinator is here to assist! We look forward to working with you as you give back to the community.
