Roswell restore closing

Habitat-North Central Georgia was advised yesterday, August 2nd, by Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) that the Roswell ReStore, which is operated by a subsidiary of HFHI, will be closing its doors this Saturday, August 4, which will be the store’s last day of business.  The Roswell Exchange Shopping Center on Highway 9/Alpharetta Road is being sold by the owner for redevelopment of a new project which is forcing the closure of all the stores in the shopping center. We wish to thank all the donors, volunteers, and customers who supported the ReStore in furtherance of Habitat’s mission: “Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.”

The closing of the ReStore will not otherwise affect Habitat-NCG’s operations. Through the abundance of God’s grace (which He has shed on our affiliate since its beginning) and the support of our wonderful donors, volunteers, and homeowners, we will continue to build new affordable homes for deserving families and will also continue to grow our home repair program targeted at low-income seniors and veterans on fixed incomes. We will also explore the possibility of opening a ReStore owned, operated, and managed by our affiliate, with the income supporting our mission. Everyone deserves a decent place to live.
