Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We enable families to realize their dream of homeownership by selling simple, decent, affordable homes to deserving families at no profit and no interest.
In order to apply for a home, you must attend an application meeting. Upcoming application meeting dates are posted to our Calendar of Events. If you do not see an application meeting listed among the upcoming events, it means that we do not have one scheduled at this time. We typically have one meeting per year in each of our three areas – North Fulton, Cherokee County, Lanier Area (Forsyth County & Dawson County). You should attend the meeting in the area in which you would like to live.
We have separate application meetings for our Community Investment Program. Those meetings will also be posted to the Calendar of Events.
Habitat for Humanity does not provide immediate housing assistance. Habitat homeowners wait between 6 months and 2 years in queue before purchasing and moving into their homes. If you need immediate help with your housing situation, please visit the Other Local Agencies page or you can call 211 from any phone to reach United Way.
